I learned the most about being a graphic designer by becoming a food server in a busy restaurant. By building relationships with my customers, I was able to gain valuable insights that helped me create compassionate and empathic solutions to their frustrations. This job changed the way I problem solve and now shapes the way I design. Responding to peoples’ habits and pain points guide my process and allow me to best create specific solutions that enrich their experiences. I’ve learned, even the smallest improvement can have the greatest impact in our daily lives.
